Hello Sir
Have been following this blog since a few weeks now.
This is Dushyant Bhatia - a 23 year old internet entrepreneur from Mumbai. Just quit my job to try my luck with a couple of small ventures before my post graduation. I launched this website called www.blogertize.in on 29th Aug. Wanted to know your thoughts on the same and would like to know some strategies to publicize this site. Should I hire a PR firm or do it myself given the budget constraints I have due to my employment status

An interesting new entry into the Web 2.0 space is: www.OpenDatabase.info sort of like a search engine for data. It is free to use for posting new data and searching for data.

It certainly is bad: it's the biggest productivity limiter affecting knowledge workers worldwide... not to mention the impact on people's quality of life.

And we haven't formed IORG to discuss it - we've formed the group to promote the search for and proliferation of real solutions that can be implemented in real organizations.

Backpack is ok, but I've moved over to Remember the Milk, primarily because it can be integrated with gmail on a firefox browser. YMMV, so the best thing to do is try an application for some time before giving up on it.

Hi Nitin,

As a fellow GTDer, what applications have worked best for you for maintaining the GTD workflow? I am just trying backpack and well, it doesnt have the GTD methodology wired in, but I am trying to set that up. How successful have you been in doing that the past year?

I've been looking for a web-based replacement for MS OneNote for quite a while, and the new version of Evernote shows some promise. The current Evernote doesn't quite meet my needs. Hopefully, the beta version will be the right fit for me.

Warner's InkShow demonstration made it quite clear that my data will finally be available to me whereever I go!!

I can't imagine anyone who doesn't have a legitimate gripe (or 67) about Outlook. What is impressive is that you've carefully documented all of them. That has to be appreciated. I doubt that MS will listen, but I am grateful everyday that, at least, I don't have to deal with that god awful Lotus Notes in a work setting.

Glad you feel the same way, and thanks for the writeup. Seems like I really touched a nerve with my rant! I hope in the next version MS will spend more time making the program *work* and less time fiddling with the icons and menus.
